Emily is a Belgian photographer who grew up in near Brussels. Her back ground is in anthropology and documentary photography. Having established a relationship with Portugal since childhood, she relocated to Lisbon in 2016. 
For the past years, she has explored her direct Portuguese surroundings. 

Her personal work questions boundaries and the relationship between the  man-made and nature whilst exploring the correspondence between the collective imaginary and scapes.

These last years, she has been documenting craftsmanship from north to south of Portugal.
